The Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports (or simply, sports minister) is the head of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports of the Government of India. One of the prominent offices in the Cabinet Ministry, the sports minister is responsible for the administration of youth affairs and sports of the government.
